I was born and raised in the small town of Melbourne, Florida. I spent most of my summers on the beach and was considered quite the tomboy. After graduating from high school, I married my high school sweetheart Dan. Two years later we moved to Texas where we raised three children.
My husband and I both share a love of motorcycles. . After several years as a passenger, I decided it was time I rode my own bike. After completing a rider's course I purchased a Harley-Davidson Low Rider.
I have been on several trips by bike and have stopped in most of the motorcycle shops along the way. Now that I am the proud grandmother of three beautiful girls, the one thing I have noticed is the lack of things for children in these stores. I wanted to share the experience and fun of riding with my grandchildren. I remembered the first time I rode on the back of a motorcycle, how new and exciting the ride was. With the help of my mother, Connie, the book was brought to life.
It is my hope to show that things are not always as they seem. If we open our minds and try new things we are more apt to learn and see the world through new eyes.
